Happy New Year SPFK12 SEPAG Families and Caregivers!

On Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 7pm, the Scotch Plains Fanwood School District Special Education Parent Advisory Group (otherwise known as the SPF SEPAG) held its December meeting at the Scotch Plains Library. That meeting, which is traditionally for parents and caregivers only, allowed participants to share issues and concerns with the SEPAG executive board regarding their child's education in the district. The SEPAG gathers that feedback anonymously to share with the district administrators.

As a follow up to the December meeting, since several issues involved Malcolm E. Nettingham middle schools, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 7pm, the Nettingham SEPAG has scheduled another meeting for parents and caregivers of children that attend Nettingham to gather additional potential feedback to bring back to the district. We will also use this meeting as an opportunity to let families that may be unfamiliar with the SEPAG know who we are and what we do in the event they would like to volunteer.
