Calling all parents! Are you struggling to decode your teen child’s behavior? With record high US statistics in depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues, answers to behavior questions are more complicated than ever. Join me as we approach teen behavior from a different perspective. In this virtual program, social worker Karen Mitchell will evaluate teen behavior from an angle often overlooked – biology and behavior in the service of survival. We will reframe the question of “what’s wrong” into “what is happening” and discuss practical ways to help your child feel emotional safety again. Q&A will be held at the end of session for anyone looking to brainstorm experiences.
